Artist Inspiration: I grew up in Kansas and seeing sunflower fields left a lifetime impression on my soul. To this day, they make me smile and feel young all over again. I wanted the sunflower to mimic the setting sun, just before it drops over the horizon, framed by the leaves on a backdrop of muted colors.
