Artist Inspiration: I grew up in Kansas and seeing sunflower fields left a lifetime impression on my soul. To this day, they make me smile and feel young all over again. Who doesn’t love sunflowers? The darker center color repeats with the purple basil, and juxtaposed against the complementary terracottas and golds, I got Sunday morning vibes of eggs on the pancakes with a bacon side.
