Blush Floral III is a natural work of coreopsis flowers and a blush pink background printed on enhanced matte paper using archival quality inks. The calm and composed flower and leaf arrangement is enhanced by a natural dye carmine background. This piece evokes a feeling of nostalgia, late summer with fall around the corner, and is a special addition to a kitchen, dining room, living room, den, or office.
Artist Inspiration: Coreopsis, commonly known as tickseed, grows wild in Arkansas. As I drove through the countryside late last summer, an exceptionally blush sunset brought out the deep colors of the tickseed abundant along back roads, creating a beautifully tranquil scene not easily forgotten. I reflected on that magical composition while creating this print.
